Gosto muito da música clássica. Conheci este maestro (não ao vivo) através do concerto que deu na Ossetia do Sul, vi através di canal RT na casa dum amigo. Daí, fiquei fascinante com ele. Quando estava grávida, ouvia muitos concertos dirigidos por ele, até agora o meu filho (tem 22 meses) já sabia imitar e sabia de cor todos os movimentos dele num concertos, principalmente um concerto que tirei do youtube de Mussorgky.
É pena que não tem ainda o concerto aqui, em Portugal. Gostaria de levar o meu filho a assistir um concerto dele. Cordialmente, Ivónia Maria da Costa Nahak |

Friday, January 6, in EIlat Israel, Attended the "Fierry angel" by Sergei Prokofiev. With Larisa Gugolevskaya as Renata and Nikolay Putilin as Ruprecht.
first of all I would like to mention that at 2004 I saw the opera in Tel Aviv and than purchased the DVD. Yesterday I saw the DVD again because I was not sure any more that I saw the same opera. Although , The Tel-Aviv Performance was great, the Eilat performance was even better. The musik was flowing with a swifting pace which made me almost get up and dance. The voices where estouning, especially Gugolevskaya, which was magical. She wispares, houlles , singing softly and wildely and it made me forget the place and the time . I simply forgot where was I. I can summarize it by saying that it was simply a religious event for me. These kind of moments are so precious because they eleviate me above daily life to a spiritual level. I would like to thank Gergiev for bringing again this performance to Eilat. |

Dear Maestro,
I do not understand much of music but I appreciate it and Mahler in particular. Last November in Rome I had the privilege to be at your performance of the Fouth with the Mariinskij Orchestra. Being a fan of Mahler I have many sets of records and videos of his symphonies with the best orchetras and maestros but still was much significantly impressed by the sensibility and beauty of the sound produced by your orchestra. I am eager to hear it again! I saw your schedule for 2012 and did not see Brazil. Any chance of your orchestra being in São Paulo in the next years? Meanwile I would appreciate having access to you and your orchestra discography particularly of video and ballets (I understand you are a specialist in Stravinsky ballets which I do not know) Best Regards, Antonio |

You are bringing so much joy to my life with the music.last concert I had been to listen to you and the Mariinski orchestra in Montreal .I flew in from Saint John New Brunswick with my girlfriend who had a dream to see you conduct in a concert hall, it was a dream come true as we listen to Tchaikovski symphony N.1 and N.6 My friend lost her son tragically 5 years ago,he was a true lover of russian music of 19.century and since his death she listens to his amazing collection of CD's and DVD's every day as that helps her to survive his departure. I personally try to go to your concerts any time I can I have seen you in NYC at the Met many times , one of the most unforgettable memories are with Mazzeppa, Onegin,War and Peace,Nose, concerts in Carnegie hall,in Vienna,Paris and again I am hoping to see you in Paris in March in Salle Pleyel on the 17.3.2012 I have many of you reccordings and it would be absolutely amazing to have one of CD's with your autograph Maybe in Paris I would like to thank you for all the joy you bring to our lives, regards to your family and continue making such a magic music Warmest regards Dr.Tamara Seidmann Saint John New Brunswick Canada |
